We have chosen this place because of the great reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. Food was delicious as per reviews:). Th menu is very nice, we need some time to choose from it. There are some options for vegans. No regrets about this decision. I strongly recommend this place.

I believe this is one of the best taverns in Kavala. It’s a family-run restaurant, and we come here every time we visit the city. Each visit, they make us feel truly welcome. The food is always fresh and delicious, with every dish full of flavour, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. They also have the best tetama in Kavala, which we always take with us when we leave Greece. I love their smocked mackerel. I highly recommend, it’s 5+ stars!

It is the best in Palio and around! We love it. The food is always delicious and the "fresh fish" better than other restaurants in town. They speak Greek and sometimes some English. All dishes have been delicious so far. The handmade potatoes are the best, depending on who delievers. From time to time there is a small dessert plate with the bill, which has always been very good. For me, the Filaraki has now overtaken all other restaurants in town in terms of performance. We appreciate that the prices in 2024 are still good. You have the best small olives. They are so tasty. Hope to meet Sofia and Nikos and all the others again in 2025. Send blessings and best wishes for you. Much love! There is some parking but the restaurant is popular and gets very busy at times. When exiting onto the main road you have to be careful because you can't see any cars from the left and unfortunately they always drive too fast. There are many accidents these days in Palio.

This taverna gave us exactly what we were looking for. The food was tasty, portions were good, and the prices fair. (Fish was fresh) The place has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were polite and attentive. Overall, a reliable choice and probably the best option in the area. When I remembered to take picture, we already ate almost all.

Excellent restaurant with very good and tasty food, large portions and very friendly staff. One of the best in Palio! I wormly recommend the sea foods and fishes!

The food as absolutely delicious, prices are also good. Just as a note, the water and bread need to be paid, they do not come complementary. Still, ate there gyros plate which easily goes in top 3 best.
